This is a long shot, but I got a DVI to SVIDEO adapter, I believe is from Apple. I thought I'd streamline my living room setup by using this to connect to my TV. But I can't get it to work. It won't display anything. I just says it isn't active and trying to change to that display just reverts back to the other monitor that I have connected to it. Any suggestions?

@kerberos_20
Thanks!
I did get it to show a weird image. Only part of the corner of the screen could be seen and the second field of the interlaced image was missing. But as you point out, this wasn't compatible in the first place.

I will try your suggestion.
Thanks again!
