How can I get my 2 asus mx239 monitors to play audio at the same time?

I've tried setting both monitors as my default audio .but only one at a time works. How can I make both play music at the same time?

If you are using the HDMI cables, I don't know if there is a very elegant way to do that. If you are using the VGA D-sub video signal, you can probably skirt by with an analog audio cable 1/8th" mini splitter from the PC to both monitors.

I am curious if someone else has an idea. Seems like a question often asked after adding a 2nd display.
