How can I get my monitor to 144Hz?

I got a monitor for Christmas that says it does 1080p @ 144Hz, only problem is it's connections are limited to HDMI, VGA and dual link DVI. I'm pretty sure dual link DVI being the only one capable of 144Hz. My RTX 2070 has 1 HDMI and the rest are displayport. Is there an adapter I can use with little latency? Thanks.

As you see in this post, you might be able to use HDMI for 144Hz. As the monitor you have doesn't have displayport, I would assume that you can use HDMI. What monitor do you have?
