Question How can I get rid of metal shavings on my motherboard?

I was installing my CPU's stock cooler, and I must have been screwing with the wrong motion, as metallic flakes have come off of the screws I believe and onto the motherboard. I've tried to get rid of most of the flakes by blowing on the motherboard, but I'm worried some will remain and possibly cause a short.
I've heard canned air might be useful to get rid of the remainder, but I'd appreciate some guidance or other recommendations.
Thank you!

EDIT: Might be worth mentioning that the remaining flakes are pretty small I think.

Using canned air would definitely dislodge them since they will blow away to somewhere. And that's also the bad thing about it...where did they blow to? Could it be someplace even more dangerous?

If you can see the shavings and get access to the location where they are you might try using some tape to pick them up, or something else sticky. Putting a little bit of double-sided tape on the eraser tip of a pencil might be helpful.

Yes that's the other issue - where else could be dangerous?
I'm a little worried that I might have blown some into my PSU when I used my mouth.
Perhaps I should use the canned air outside?
Thanks for your reply
