I'm using a Technika TV as my monitor with a HDMI connector, and have Logitech surround sound speakers with 2 standard headphone connectors. When they are all plugged in, I can either have sound from my TV or from my surround sound, how can I have sound come from both?

only way would be to split it from the analog jack of your pc to the speaker and then to the TV and hope the TV lets you select the audio source separate of the TV, otherwise there is no way to really get the PC to output both at the same time, and if it did, it would out of sync as the TV would have to process the HDMI sound and convert it from digital, the PC's sound card would have to do the same, and unless both used the exact same DAC, it would be out of sync by a few ms, possible enough to create echoy sound.

So about Chevolume since I just tried it:

It makes it so that program allows you to divide programs so say a game and a movie.. but you still can't play say a movie with BOTH your surround sound speakers AND your computer's speakers.

I dunno maybe it's not worth it because there would be a slight delay.
