How can I get Toshiba product key for Windows XP

How can I get Toshiba Product key for windows XP? I used a key finder and got a number but windows says it is invalid. I used another key finder and got the same number and windows still says it is invalid. I purchased a toshiba restore disk and do not have the old information. Please help

there should be a sticker on the bottom of the laptop that will have the product key listed.

If you are referring to the original key that was used on your Toshiba Laptop it was likely a System Builder OEM key that will only work with preactivated restore disks/original factory install... Otherwise that key won't be of any use. If you lost the sticker on the bottom of your laptop than unfortunately you are sol... 🙁
