How Can I Get Windows 10 From my Laptop to my Deskop?

I just recently built my new pc and am using an unlicensed version of windows. I also have a laptop originally with windows 8.1 but upgraded to windows 10. Is there any way I can get the OS from my laptop to my desktop?

It depends on what kind of license you own. If it is a full retail license then you can but if it is from an OEM laptop installation then no.
