So this is a rig that I plan on building in a day or two but I just want to make sure I have the requirements to overclock my new skylake processor (i7-6700k) that I spent too much money on to fry. The rig as it is right now is based out of a LGA1151 Gigabyte Z170-HD3 motherboard and has 16GB of DDR4 ram and a GTX 1070 although I know that probably doesn't matter in this case. In terms of a cooler I have a cooler master hyper evo 212 like any other novice but I've heard that some people would recommend liquid cooling for overclocked components. Any advice would be greatly appreciated because this is my first build and I've already had to buy a new motherboard since I bent two cpu socket pins like an idiot and didn't want to run the risk of having an unstable build.

The build:

Just trying to make sure that I can get pretty decent render times and the full use of my components since their soul purpose beyond gaming is 3d rendering.
