How can I I see my dell laptop screen on my hdtv

if your laptop has a vga out you can get a splitter that lets it go to the RGB connectors on the tv,
if your laptop has a dvi out you can either plug it in or get a converter that goes from dvi to hdmi.
if your laptop has an hdmi out you can just plug it into your tv.
if you have a displayport out you can get a "passive displayport to dvi" or "passive displayport to hdmi" adapter
oh and its HDTV with a D

Hi, u can edit your typo, but what Dell do u have ?

HDMI is the best medicine to your question, it carries HD picture and up to 7.1 Sound.

DVI ,S-video, VGA is not with sound. U would have to make audio connection extra, unless u don't need sound.
