I have a box of memory sticks pulled from a variety of computers over the last 15 years. I have no idea what they belong in or how to determine what kind of memory they are.
Is there a way? I'd like to give them away or sell them on ebay. But I can't tell what computer they should go in.

Thanks

This gives you an idea of the physical appearance of the ram. The notches are slightly different. You can also google any stickers on the ram or the physical chips codes. This will tell you the DDR version and help you identify rated speed. You could separate the DDR versions and sell all of the DDR2 as a lot, DDR3 as a lot, and so on. You could sell it as an auction on eBay. You also could separate individual similar kits and sell them for cheap.http://www.rfwireless-world.com/Terminology/Difference-between-DDR1-DDR2-DDR3-DDR4.html
