How can i improve AE CS6 performance?

I have just started using Adobe After Effect CS6.I am having the worst experience using such software.

My computer Specs:
CPU: Intel i5 6600k
GPU: Nividia 980Ti Xtreme Gaming Edition 6GB

RAM: Corsair Vengence 32GB 3000MHz
MB: AsRock z170 Exteme4
Hard: SSD

I have no idea if this my pc is the problem or what ?I have tried different setting for this software but seem to have no perfect solution.
I don't care about the final render time, I just care about workflow and smooth previews.Is this too much to ask?

Try searching up on YouTube "How to dedicate CPU to After Effects" And follow the instructions on some of them videos, this may help.

Also try dedicating more ram, it might be eating hardly any ram, unlikely though.
