Question How can i install windows 10 without a USB/CD/etc?

i have the windows 10 iso on a ssd (SSD2) and am running windows 10 off of a different ssd (SSD1). i have my product key ready as well

how do i install windows on SSD2 for a different computer without a USB drive? i can't find my USB drive.

i've already tried mounting the iso to a virtual disk and running the setup from there BUT it just wants to perform a clean install of windows on SSD1

help?

You don't.

Given how cheap an 8GB USB thumb drive is, just get another one.

Unless you were using a specialized version of Windows 10 enterprise that allowed you to install Win10 images on drives you must use the standard method. And the standard method on a system without an OS is Doing a Completely Clean Install of Windows 10.

If the system you intend to pop SSD2 in to has an optical drive, then burn the ISO to a DVD and use optical media instead of a USB drive.
