How can i lower my mouse DPI?

Hello I have a gaming mouse that has a max DPI of 2000, and the DPI switch only changes it from 1000-1600-2000 but I want 400dpi, because I want to find my perfect sensitivity on cs go, is there a way to do this? (Tecknet m268 mouse) I tried finding if I can but all I see is mouse speed on windows 8 🙁 Thanks for your time.

Start Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center, select the mouse you are using, click Basic settings, locate Sensitivity, make your changes, and then click Apply.

Some mice don't have a program in which you can alter the DPI to a specific number. It appears the lowest you can do it 1000 if their FAQ is anything to go by.

Usually if you can change it, you will have software from the manufacturer to do so e.g. Logitech Gaming Software. TeckNet do seem to have one for their other mice which you can use, but changing the DPI isn't an option on it.
