I am starting classes this week and need a laptop with Windows 32 bit to run a certain version of Oracle. I have 2 machines with 64bit and a copy of windows 10 32/62 bit on a USB that I have been using to try to get 32bit installed. I used the licence to install 64 on my desktop but I should still be able to use the USB to get 32bit installed.
I tried installing on new partition, then on a blank external drive. In both cases when I try to install 32bit it tells me the following file is missing/corrupt (File: \windows\system32\boot\winload.efi). Based on other forums, this is apparently a problem installing when 64bit already exists? So I have also tried a fresh install, wiping out everything on the drive and installing 32bit and that failed as well because of another missing/corrupt file in \system32.
How can I get Windows 10 32-bit working on a computer?
