How can I make a Bootable CD with DBAN

I'm selling my old PC and I want to wipe my hard drive with DBAN. The problem is, I cannot seem to create a bootable CD even with tutorials I've followed online with two different burning softwares. If anyone knows of a specific one they used and has worked and could give me a step by step, that would be great

If you downloaded the .ISO file from here: http://www.dban.org/download
... and you have Win7 or 8, simply dbl. click on the file. Win should offer to burn it to disk.

The free version of CCLeaner has a built-in drive wiper that is pretty good too, if all else fails. But you'd have to have the drive removed from the PC and installed in another PC that has Win/CCleaner running on it.

Op's flash drive probably isn't setup to be bootable so I'd suggest using Rufus which lets you choose your own iso and it will do everything for you.

Flash drive? I thought he said he wanted to create a bootable CD.
