How can I make my laptop screen brighter?

I like to work on the beach in Thailand.

But my laptop screen doesn't go bright enough, it's a toshiba c-640 with windows 7 64bit.

Is there a way I can bypass standard brightness settings and go even brighter?

The full brightness is not enough.
