How can I make my phone's aux out go into my computers audio in?

So, I'm trying to make it so I can have whatever sound that is on my phone direct through my mic in Skype. I'm not sure if it's possible or not, but I wanted to give it a shot.

I tried just running the aux out into the computers microphone jack, but the result was simply mute, and my phone didn't recognize it and just played through it's speakers.
Anyway I could do this?

Sorry if it is the wrong section, but I couldn't find one that was well suited.
