how can i make the cpu work harder

hey guys

i have i5 3470 3.2G 6M cache cpu
and 8g ram kingstone Hyper 1600MHz

when i install a huge game Like Battlefield 4 (28 Giga) or something like it
or when i copy or cut
the ram reach high usage maybe 70 or 80 % , but cpu is low usage

u see here when i copy 23g file cpu use only 3% and speed start with 60 m/s and keep going down by the time till it reach 35 or 30 m/s
i want it to use more power and reduce the time of any process i do
why it only use 3 or even 20% usage only

when you transfer files there's nothing for the cpu to do. the hdd is doing the transfer and so the cpu usage is low.

the low amount of usage isn't a bad thing, the higher the amount doesn't mean the files are going to be copied across quicker, if you are looking for faster file transfer speeds, look into getting an SSD if you dont already have one

alright , general question , what makes the cpu run hard? beside the games? i want to stress on it and check if it work normal
