how can I migrate all my programs from C to External Storage

I need to migrate my programs from my laptop C drive to my Seagate external Hard drive

You can't migrate most programs as the OS would become confused as to why they were moved and it wouldn't be able to find them when required.

@Mattios is right, it's not recommended to migrate any software onto an external as your chances of it loading the software properly are very low. What you can do instead, is backup the data you wish to save and maybe some setup files. For everything else I'd suggest you to re-install the software programs from scratch, this way you'd make sure that they will be loading and performing properly afterwards.
