How can I play a pc game in my hp envy laptop

Help please I have a hp envy laptop but it doesnt come with a cd player how can I play pc games

What games are you trying to play? Most games are available through some sort of online platform (Steam, Origin, etc). Also, USB cd/dvd drives are fairly inexpensive if you have a hard copy of a game you're trying to install.

You can connect an external DVD drive. Useful for playing games you already have that are on DVDs.

Nowadays games are digitally distributed meaning you can buy games from Steam, Origin, GOG, Amazon, etc... that are downloaded and does not need a DVD drive at all. Of course, if you have a game on DVD and you want to get the downloaded version, then you need to buy the game again.
