How can I play games on this laptop at 60fps?

Hi I have the Asus K55N DS-81 and I have been looking through some youtube videos of people playing games like Bioshock Infinite, Metro last light, Farcry 3, etc with the exact same specs as my laptop. Surprisingly they have such great fps and their graphics settings on the games are not even at the lowest setting which honestly bothers me because I have tried playing these games before on my laptop but only to see terrible results. the only thing that is different is that they have 8GB ram while i have 4GB both are DDR3. What can I do to make my laptop play these games smoothly?

The ram won't make any difference since those games don't use all 4gb of ram.
I would say they overclocked their CPU, it would make a difference but not that mcuh since playing videogames depends on the graphic card more that it depends on the CPU.
Are you sure you have the same graphic card ?

I have the AMD A8 4500M and it cannot be overclocked, I'm stumped on how they got their game working at a smooth fps, also it is an APU, some people say that adding more ram will help, others say it won't help, but one thing for sure is that this APU doesn't have memory/ram of it's own so it shares the ram.
