How can I protect my laptop's hardware parts from being illicitly replaced when I send it to get fixed?

My laptop is an older model where it has interchangable parts like RAM and CMOS.. Now I cant send it to the official Sony representatives, Actually it is a small issue and the guys down the street can do it.. I know Ill have to remove the battery before giving it to them, but I think they can easily replace other parts with lower grade ones.. I know there has to be a way to know if anything has been tampered with, Like a Checksum for hardware or something (Googling it didnt provide good results).

If you suspect they may illegally change parts, yes.
But if you suspect that shop might do that, why are you taking it to them?

Because taking it to Sony is not possible at the moment.. I havent dealt with them before . . Their reputation is good.. so i figured why not..

And Im not too trusting, sooo ..
