[SOLVED] How can I reactivate a disabled HDD?

Hello guys!

I had to disable my HDD since it stopped being accessible after a destiny 2 update, it also took me around 30 minutes to boot up my laptop... I want to reactivate it now so I can format it, but it is nowhere to find. Not in the device manager, explorer, disk management etc. only in BIOS under storage information. What can I do now?

wait a second... it just randomly appeared back in the device manager wth?? I have checked like 3 times in the span of 1 week and suddenly it's back haha. well thanks for your respond tho, appeciate it

Can you show screenshot from HDtune health? (upload to imgur.com and post link)
I'd suspect your HDD to be failing. You may need to replace it.

SSD would be a better replacement. Samsung 860 evo or Crucial Mx500.

There are no reliable ways to fix that HDD; time for an SSD or another HDD.
I really hope you were making weekly or bi-monthly backups onto external media.

I have a SSD as my primary drive. only used the HDD for like games and backups, so it's not that big of a deal.

Doesn't matter. Those drives will fit, wherever your faulty 2.5" sata HDD was installed.
