So i had a mac drive laying around the house. It had a ntsf partition on half the drive and a mac partition on the other half. I have plugged it into my pc via sata. However my pc only recognizes the ntsf formatted part of the drive. How do i get it to read both parts of the drive. I want to do this so i can delete the mac formatted portion of the drive and then just keep it as ntsf so i can use it as extra storage for my pc.

Yeah Disk management should let you delete existing partitions and create new ones, it may also let you expand the NTFS partition in the empty space but is quite limited in that sort of function A portioning tool such as the free one from Aomeii would be more useful probably.

I had an old MAC OS drive I had some trouble reading, I wanted to check what was on it before re partitioning so I tried Linux via a Live CD. It was much better at recognising the partitions and had partition software pre-installed that let me remove all the partitions. Probably could have done it from windows though. No Idea if Linux can read files from a mac os drive though, pretty sure the one in question was blank.
