How can i reduce ram usage

hi , i upgraded from win 7

win 7 ultimate 64 bit used around 700mb of ram in idle mode

i have windows 10 pro 64 bit and its using 1.4 gb of my ram in idle

i have 4gb total ram and have problem playing games while i was fine on windows 7

i disabled cortana and some other services like superfetch but its still using 1.3gb of ram , is that just how much windows needs or can i reduce the ram usage by disabling something?

W10 is a bit more intensive when compared to W7. Your best solution is to simply buy another 4Gb of RAM. In this day and age, 8Gb is pretty much the required norm.
