Hey guys,

I installed a new SSD as my primary drive (running Windows 8.1 OS).
My old SSD is also installed but it still has the Recovery Partition in place.

How do I go about removing this partition so that the secondary SSD drive is one single partition?

Can I do this within Windows 8.1? Or do I need software?

Your help is appreciated, thanks.

If you are sure you don't need the Recovery Image partition, go into Computer Management >> Disk Management and see if Windows will let you delete all the partitions on it (right-click >> Delete Volume)

Now right-click on that drive's unallocated space and choose "Create new simple volume". Accept the default partition size and click 'OK'. Then format it.
