Hello once again Beautiful people of Tom's Hardware Forum
So, on my secondary HDD when i created it's Partition i decided to give it a go with the Compressing all the files there to save a bit of Storage but i didn't know all the files would have an Awful 2 Arrows Pointing at Each Other:

So far Google's only solution is rolling back to Default Icons thru Regedit or Removing the compression which i'd rather not do. As of the Regedit method it goes something like:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Icons

Followed by editing the String Value to the desired default i believe:

But guys, this is just an A E S T H E T I C issue for me, if changing regedit has the slightest chance of messing up my System i'll just swallow my pride and live with the arrows, i'm not the Savviest in tech so unless you can grab my hand and walk me thru this process like a 5 year old i don't think i can/should do it.

In the meantime i'll link you up to a couple of shady articles ""Explaining"" how to do this process

Article 1: http://mywindowshub.com/change-or-remove-double-blue-arrows-icon-on-compressed-files-and-folders-in-windows-10/

Article 2: http://www.isumsoft.com/windows-10/2-ways-remove-double-blue-arrows-on-icons.html

PLEASE USE ADBLOCKER BEFORE ENTERING THOSE SITES AS I DON'T KNOW THEIR ORIGIN OR SAFETY.

SOLUTION EDIT: Just de-compress the drive, it's not worth the 2% saving per file to be honest. And it is as Simple as going to "This PC" right clicking on your desired drive (D: in my case. Please ask someone if it's on your main C:) uncheck the Compress this Drive option and let it process. Mine says it'll take about 6 Hours but it's looking more like 45min - 1hr.

If it's really not worth it, Sure i'll remove it, Just tell me how to since everything i place in that HDD get automatically Compressed and doing it file by file would make the possibility of Suicide all the more viable.

Also i don't want to clean the HDD & Partition it again.

I've never used it, so I don't know exactly how to do an inplace 'uncompress'.

How much data is on this drive?
How much actual space is this saving?
Do you have somewhere else to copy it to, just temp?

Yeah, i could Temporarily move them to another drive.
The compression does very little IE: an 8mb file would go down to 7.35mb

EDIT: So i just went to "THIS PC" Right Clicked on the HDD and unchecked the Compress Drive option
says it'll take about 6 hours but it went 1/4 of the way in just 5 minutes so i Hope it takes 1 hour tops.
