How can I run dual monitors on 2 different workstations?

I currently have 2 monitors and want to be able to use them both on my personal workstation and my work pc. What is the best way to do this?

or if both computers are right next to each other plug the home computer into one set of inputs on the monitor (DVI) and the work computer into another set (DP) and then manually switch the input on the monitors for which ever system you want to use.

no i havent but that style of KVM switch is what your looking for.

I do use a Trendnet 8-port server rack KVM.
