Question How can I see an previously proteced SSD drive

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad that had an SSD for which I was entering a password at boot.
I replaced the SSD with another one simply swapping them and booting with a pen drive.

Now I'd like to use the old SSD ad external USB drive but my system doesnt reconize it. Even TestDisk doesnt see it. I'm guessing is due to the password it was set in place?

You'll need to plug the drive back into the old system and remove the password and decrypt it if its encrypted. No way around this and due to forum rules we can't help you bypass such protection. Thread closed.
