I am trying to keep my kids off their games all night long and I am looking to set a timer to turn the wifi off and on at night, any ideas?

Some routers have parental controls built in. If yours has it, you can go in and set the times of day that you will allow them to use it. You will need to look in your router manual for the instructions as they all implement this differently.

If the router does not have parental controls, maybe whatever they game on does. And you can set your own password on most of the systems that allow you to set this up.

If they only use a computer, you can probably find an application to run on the computer itself. Also, if computer only, I think you should probably be able to set up a limited user account which will deny Internet access.

If all else fails, just physically take the router into your bedroom overnight, hiding it somewhere they can't get to it.
