Question How can I speed up Webdav in Windows 11, version 23H2?

Hello

I tried to use Webdav with both Onedrive and https://infini-cloud.net/en/modules/mypage/usage/. However its data transfer speed is really slow, around 1-30 KBytes most of the time in both cases, Onedrive and https://infini-cloud.net/en/modules/mypage/usage/. This makes using it unfeasible. I tried disabling "Automatic detect settings" of LAN settings in Windows 11, but this did not fix the slow Webdav speed problem.
My Internet connection has upload and download speeds of around 95 Mbps, which is around 12 MBytes. I think this should be enough to make Webdav a bit quicker.

Do you have any idea to make Webdav data transfers faster in Windows 11?

Thanks

Use a real OS like linux. :)

Did it used to work different before the patch you list ?

I doubt it is windows itself causing the issue. I have not even though about webdav for years is it still used a lot.

I would be more suspect of a browser change than windows. I assume if you download files from microsoft using a simple browser window you get close to your 12MByte rate. Steam you can't trust a lot but it is also can be used estimate your download speeds.

I does not sound like a true network issue if you get good download speeds on other apps. Someone who uses webdav on a regular basis would have to comment on how it actually transfers files but it might be some setting in the application.

what's your webdav client software? when you talked about speed, is it a big file or multiple small files?

although I don't use onedrive but I just did a test using Cyberduck client and the test speed looks normal to me.

I tried first with Windows File Explorer. Since it was slow, I tried with WinSCP. But the latter was also slow. Do you think the slow speed problem might have to do with the way the Webdav servers are configured? That means, do you think the problem might have to do with the cloud provider rather than my computer?
Thanks

It should be settings, not your PC or provider. Again, are you talking about large file or a lot of small files?

Post your ethernet performance picture using task manager.

Use Windows key+Shift+S to clip the screenshot and upload to imgur.com and share it here.

This is a screenshot of the result of the download and upload speed test:

It seems the upload speed of local files into the Webdav is not so slow as I thought as you can see below:

Anyway it seems it is still below 7.7 Mbps most of the time, that means below 1 Mbyte, which is pretty slow compared to the 90-95 Mbps of upload speed I usually see in speedtest.net
