how can i tell the difference between an XFX R9 380 and the 380x?

Hey all!
I just recently sold my XFX R9 380x on ebay. The guy received the package and is now asking me how to verify that the card is of the X series. I told him to try CPUID HWmonitor. But somehow that says that it is just an r9 380. I know for a fact that this card is an X series card as i bought it brand new. Either way, does anyone know of anyway to tell the difference between a regular XFX R9 380x and an XFX R9 380?

One way I recommend is installing GPU-Z and seeing how many shaders it has. Then look up how many shaders the 380 has compared to the 380X. AMD calls their shaders stream processors.

I just looked it up and this is what i found:

380 - 1792 shaders/stream processors
380X - 2048 shaders/stream processors

The easiest way is to just look at the card. This should be the same card you sold him. On the back is a white sticker that will say it, either R9-380 or R9-380X. No need to run a program, that will tell you. If he says it isn't a 380X, get him to send you a picture of it.
