Hi. I configured RAID 0 (stripe) with 2 hard drives WD 250gb sata2 16mb using ICH7 (Matrix Technology Storage). I have a "MSI 975X Platinum PowerUp" and it´s supports Jmicron and ICH7 (Matrix Technology Storage). I don´t know what´s better? If Jmicron or ICH7? But I decided for ICH7.
I need some programs to test if my RAID 0 is fast. Somebody knows programs that can test it?
I was using HDTach but I get 338 mb/s Average Read and I don´t know if it´s good or bad. I put a screen to show you what I get in the HDTach test.
