How can i transfer audio from my pc to my tv?

okay so im getting parts for a build, so included some cables to go with - i chose a hdmi to dvi cable for the video transfering but what do i need exactly to transfer audio please help!

With some cards the DVI -> HDMI will bring audio(mostly older and 4xxx cards). Failing that, check to see if your tv has digital or optical in.

If all else fails, good old 3.5mm headphone jack to 2 x RCA cables work with almost every tv.
