I've seen a 90€ Acer Veriton M M4630G desktop computer and I'm thinking of buying it to use it as a NAS and server.

Budget: I'd like to spend less in the remaining parts than in the whole computer.
System Usage from Most to Least Important:
I've run out of storage space on the current computer so I'm looking for somewhere to have at least other 4 3.5" hard drives.
I would also use this to host some popular open source programs like nextcloud, jellyfin, funkwhale, lemmy, sonarr, radarr...
Parts to Upgrade: I need an SSD and I need to buy whatever parts are necessary to hold, connect and power the drives in this computer, as many drives as it can hold.
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: aliexpress
Location: buying from Spain

Acer Veriton M M4630G:
  • Intel Core i5-4440 4 cores@3.1Ghz
  • 8GB DDR3 RAM @1600Mhz Dual Channel
  • PSU ATX: 500W 80+ Gold
  • Integrated GPU Intel HD 4600
  • No HDD or SSD
  • Output: DVI, VGA, DisplayPort, 5 SATA ports (for HDD/SSD)
  • Red: 1 GBps LAN port
  • Dimensiones: 44x37x18 cm

I think this computer has space for 7 hard drives and I would need:
  • 5 brackets of some type and 2 brackets of some other type
  • 7 units of 4P IDE to 15P Serial SATA Power Adapter Hard Drive Cable (I don't know if this power supply has 7 4P IDE cables)
  • PCIE to SATA adapter (PCIE x4 or what?)

The hardest thing will be getting power for your drives. That power supply is non-standard.
