Question How can I turn the "Hey Cortana!" function off?

If you look at this picture below, it clearly shows how you're suppose to access the "Hey Cortana" option but, Whenever I click settings, the start menu closes and I can't access any of the settings. Does anyone know how to fix this?

If you can't access the system settings, then there is a registry or file system corruption. If this was an upgrade I'd suggest you do as countless others have had to do, and perform a clean install. The upgrade doesn't take well on about 25% of systems.
