Question How can i upgrade my pc? - need help

Hi,
I have an average setup but am experiencing large lag spikes in my flight sim. And i was looking to improve this is there any way i can upgrade slightly, or am i looking at a new pc?

gigabyte ddr3 am3+ motherboard
16gb ddr3
1050ti 4gb
fx-6300

There is fx 8350 but i don't recommend because it uses alot of power and it overheats a new platform will be a good choice get a b450 , ddr4 memory, and ryzen 5 1600 or 2600
