hello Friends!

hope you guys can help me figure this out this is my setup first of all

GPU - PNY RTX 2080TI
CPU- intel core i9 9900k OC to 5.2ghz
Motherboard - MSI MEG Z390 ACE
RAM- DDR4 VENGANCE 64GB SPLIT ON 4 - 3200MHZ
PSU - 1200W THERMALTAKE PLATINUM
LIQUID COOLER - Nzxt Kraken X72

the problem is i have 4 x 8gb gskill 4266 RAM and my mobo only supports 4133mhz (says at the official page) can i still run the 4266 rams on my mobo on lower mhz?
i just try to run the auto mode on lower mhz for example : 4133mhz or 3900mhz and says there is a problem with the overclock and then run on default mode..

should i need to move anything more like voltages or idk? or its impossible to lower the mhz on my mobo?

The 4266mhz is just the speed that the RAM is rated for. You should be able to run 4122mhz on RAM that is rated at 4266mhz.

I assume the issues you are having with the overclock is that you will have to tweak the settings to run your RAM at such high speeds. Even 4133mhz is very high speed. And to tell you the truth, you are probably not gonna get any better performance from 3200mhz to 4266mhz as Intel CPUs dont really scale well with RAM speeds.

Nice rig by the way.
