Hey all,

So i'm wanting to start with a clean slate on my C: Drive (SSD) by blowing it all away and reinstalling windows. However I would also like to leave my D: Drive (HDD) as it is. Is it possible to do so without backing up my D: to an external drive as I do not have one?

As of my attempts so far the only options I have been given are the ones in my picture attached, thanks for the help.

tl;dr How do I wipe my C: Drive but keep my D:?

Its always a smart move to just unplug all drives except the one you want to format. You should also only have the C: drive plugged in when installing windows.

so in short..... unplug the D:drive, format the C: drive and reinstall windows on it, then plug the D: drive back in.
