On my Mac Pro, it appears the one (B-Baker) memory card isn't liked. When I first installed four 1GB RAM modules on each card, I apparently didn't seat the B board correctly so only 4GB showed. I opened the hood and reseated the B board and all 8GB showed. The next time I started the box, the power light continually flashed. PRAM and SMD resets didn't work. I pulled the B board and bingo-bango, it started. All 8 modules are the same. So, how can I test the memory, save by repeatedly swapping RAM and rebooting? Can the memory board be hot swapped?
