How can setup two mirror raid pairs, (2x2 drives), on a Z87 chipset?

I have a motherboard with the Intel Z87 chip set. I want to setup two RAID 1 drives. One mirrored pair for the OS and one mirrored pair as a data drive. I have two 1TB SSHD drives to be used as a mirrored "C:" drive and two 2TB standard hard drives to be used as a mirrored "D:" drive. When I enter the boot time Intel raid manager, I have no problem creating the first "C:" mirrored set. But when I go to create the second raid set it does not allow me to select the other two 2TB drives for the creation. Am I doing something wrong? Or is it you can only have one raid set? If it is the later, then what about creating a software raid for the "D:" drive through the OS?

Also a side question. Are there any known issues or concerns about using SSHD drives in a RAID mirror arrangement?

I am aware of what you said. So I guess the real question is: Will the Z87 chipset support two raid 1 sets? Not 2 raid groups/partitions within a set of drives, but 2 pairs of drives, each set independent of the other. If it does, I will eventually figure it out. If it does not, then I should stop wasting my time trying.
