I want to upgrade my system to give me a more smooth ride when gaming. i run at 35*c at idle and 42-47 at peak performance. i suspect that the high temperature is because my build is currently really clustered. Not much air-flow. To fix this, i plan on adding a fan in the top of the system to draw out the air my system makes. My CPU fan's are currently facing upwards, but i am thinking about switching that so they point towards the exhaust-fan. What do you guys recommend? Should i go for the airflow alone and reduce the temperature or do i have some hardware you recommend i change/add?
I'm running the following system:
Tower: Corsair Obsidian 450D
MB: MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition, Socket-1150
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K Processor
GPU: MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G
PSU: XFX XPS-650W-SEW Power Supply
Ram: HyperX Fury DDR3 1600MHz 16GB
CPU-cooling: Noctua NH-D15
Additional, 2 front fans and 1 exhaust fan.
