When questioning if a video card will work with your system setup, the primary 3 things you'll need are:
1. Motherboard slot type/availability. IE: PCI-Express 1.0, 2.0, or 2.1, and how many slots you have open
2. Power Supply. IE: How much wattage you have to spare, how much amperage across the 12v rails, and how many spare power connectors and what types. Underpowering can lead to weird graphical errors, crashing, and is very bad for your video card and PSU together.
3. Space and adequate cooling. IE: If the card is 10" long, and you have a small case, it might not fit or it might not get the adequate cooling it needs. Bad cooling can lead to decreased performance, crashing, and overheating.
