Hello!
I am building a new router and since I don't have a modem or spare money to buy one, I noticed that my current router has a coax input and acts like a modem & a router. I followed a tutorial on how to bridge this specific router and I don't know if I did it successfully.
How can you tell if it's bridged correctly? I get internet and also the internet LED on the old router I'm trying to bridge is orange instead of green. I can no longer connect to that router even if I hook my ethernet directly into the rear.
I've done ipConfig in the CMD too and saw I don't have a default gateway with that router, is this all normal? No gateway, internet access, or even access into that router anymore while hooked into it?
Thanks!
