How cold?

Just a quick question..
What is considered to be the lowest dangerous temperature for a cpu to get to?
obviously it will differ from system to system.
Reason i ask is that i want to know if i can settle for a quieter fan on a Thermoengine V60 which should keep my CPU below 46 degrees under load. The delta fan kept it at 38 degrees in the same test setup. do I need this if i'm not worried about an extra 50Mhz

Are there any problems with a cold System temp? Right now my system is running at 7C and my CPU at 35C. 1.2 Ghz Thunderbird. I'm hoping as soon as the snow starts falling I can get lower. I leave it running all the time so the Harddrive doesn't have to start cold, but I may pad around it a little because it doesn't produce as much heat as a CPU. Any thoughts?

Athlons from what I remember from a refrigeration review are ok to -10 to -15 C with a peltier installed of course.

What about the rest of my components? I have the case outside my room with the KB Mouse and monitor cables running through the wall, My room is 25C and the room that the computer is in is 7C. When December and January roll around It should drop to -15 maybe even -25 on certain days. Should I insulate them so they don't get too cold?
