How come all the review websites give screen on time that are way beyond what is actually the case?

I have a motorola moto g, and a review on this website said they got 7 hours of screen on time,
how is this even possible?
I am doing well to get three hours, with reduced brightness on wifi alone

What are you doing during those 3 hours? If you play a video or game on the thing for 3 hours, then yes, you will have a lot less battery time. You may also have a bad battery. The battery tests are done with mixed use, maybe an hour of video, some web browsing, email, etc...
