How come GTX 680 more expensive?

Solution
gtx 680 is a graphic card, nothing special about that,
you can consider this card as gtx 1080 5 years ago, it still offers similar performance to1050ti, even though it is very power hungry for it's performance.

when a product is discontinued, the price is either dedicate by the it's raw performance vs current card, as well as the collector value. it's a flagship card. for someone who wants to collect video cards, they are willing to pay $200 to put the card on their shelf.

you can use win 10 on 680 as it uses dx12 api.

It's an older architecture, but it's still a little faster than a 1050ti. People set prices based on what they think they can get and in a volatile market such as the one we have now, prices won't necessarily be neatly proportional to the power of the item.

It was the fastest card of the Kepler generation. Retailed for $600 and that was insane 5 years ago. You can get a 770 which is just a rebranded 680 for really cheap.

Edit: I saw a GTX 780 Ti which is the next generation for $150 the other day on ebay.
