How come my speaker is quite?

I connected my speaker to an aux cable. I connected the aux to my iPhone, my iPhone volume is all the way up and un muted. Its quite quite. Do I need to buy something to turn the volume up on the speaker?

This will not work your speakers require a lot nore power then. An be delivered from your phone you would need a amplifier to go between the two

so instead of having the aux to my phone what if its plugged into a computer?

I just tried connecting it to a computer, its louder then the phone but not as loud as it could get

Thats as thoae speakers are not deigned for a 3.5mm type connection they are for higher wattage delivered from a amplifier they are speakers for use with a stereo or surrond sound system
