Hi all

I Have recently gotten myself a new desktop and was wondering what fans in my case that should be used as intake and which to outtake for best airflow.

My case is a CM Storm Trooper and I have:

1. place: 2 standard 120mm fans in front
. . . . . . . 2 Be Quiet Silent Wings 120mm fans in the buttom of the case under 1. place

2. place: a corsair H100I

3. place: a 140mm standard fan

4. place: 2 Be Quiet Silent Wings 120mm fans

The places can be seen in the picture in the link:

I was thinking of making 1 intake, 2 outtake, 3 outtake, 4 in/outtake as my GPU is right behind 4.

Thx in advance ^^

As I mentioned in my question I am looking for the best air flow with the fans i have and am therefore looking for advice for which should be intake and outtake and not a complete water cooling solution :)

I ended up with a h100i in top, stock cm storm trooper 140mm in back, 2 stock cm storm trooper 120mm in front, 2 be quiet silent wings 2 120mm in side and 1 be quiet silent wings 2 120mm in bottom.

This is the standard setup in the cm storm trooper except i have turned the HDD cage with the 2 stock 120 mm fans to point to the front instead of the side and added some be quiet silent wings 2 120mm fans.

This made my HDD temps to drop from 29 to 26 C
My SSD temps to drop from 25 to 21-22 C
My GPU idle temps to drop from 31 to 24-25 C and load temps from 63 to 53-54 C
My CPU idle temps to drop from 33 to 32 C and load temps from 60 to 58 C
My ambient temps is 23 C

So quite a good temp upgrade ^^

PS: all stock fans run at min speed and the be quiet fans run at 7V (about 630 RPM, almost not able to hear them) the h100i fans run at about 800 RPM (quite loud compared to the be quiet fans) at load on CPU (changed to custom RPM graph with corsair LINK) and my GPU runs at 1100 RPM at idle (loudest component in system) and about 2000 RPM at load (very loud and 100% fan speed is insanely loud, but never gets there)
