How did System Volume Information appear on Mobile Phone?

I recently left my Mobile phone by accident at a computer cafe. It had it's SD card in it and when I returned about half hour later, I got the phone back. I found however that there was a new folder on the SD card called system volume information there. Could you please tell me what caused that? Did they remove my SD card and download stuff? Did they transfer files from SD card to a PC or Laptop? Thanks for helping me out.

Someone else had control of it.
There is a new folder on it.
Someone accessed the phone or SD card via a Windows PC.
